In this video, I put Gemini 3 Pro to the ultimate test by using it as a coding agent (via Kilo Code in VS Code) to build features into an existing Next.js project. We tackle real-world, multi-step engineering tasks to see if its state-of-the-art reasoning lives up to the hype.
What We Built & Tested:
Full Authentication System: Integrated Clerk for Sign-in/Sign-up into an existing Next.js app.
AI Chat Interface: Created a full-stack chat UI and integrated the Gemini 3 Pro model itself via OpenRouter.
Modern Landing Page: Tested its front-end design skills with a modern, professional page.
The Ultimate Code Challenge: Tried to build a Flawless 3D Rubik’s Cube Simulator (A task that failed other top models like Claude 4 and GPT-5).
