Everyone is talking about LLM agents, but what are they?
An LLM Agent is a software entity capable of reasoning and autonomously executing tasks.
There is a blurry line between what is and isn’t an LLM agent. The key difference is flexibility. An LLM that summarizes a set of homogeneous documents using the same pattern is not an agent.
An LLM that picks the best data source to answer a question is an agent.
