Intelligent generative design for building structures

This video shows the most recent advancements of Xinzheng Lu’s research group: intelligent generative design for building structures. This technology has been successfully adopted in real-world construction projects. A typical application is in the bidding stage of building construction. AI can generate design results similar to those of engineers, and AI’s designs satisfies the design codes, conforms to experience and is close to engineers’ design. The overall design efficiency is increased by 10 to 15 times. So this technology is welcomed by the users.
