How To Change a Background in Photoshop
Let me show you a brand new way to change a background in Photoshop.
This new method literally takes less than 10 seconds using Ai inside of Photoshop.
And you can fine tune it to get the best results.
First, you need the version of Photoshop that has Ai generative fill. This is in Beta as I’m recording this, but anyone can get it and it will be included of the next Photoshop by default.

Then, I’m going to find the picture where I can remove and replace the background with Photoshop.
I’m going to use Envato Elements. This new Photoshop update has completely changed the way I can now use Royalty free stock photos. (affiliate link)

With the photo opened in Photoshop, all I have to do is select the subject, invert the selection to select the background, click on generative fill and type in with text what I want for the background.
I can choose gym for example or a park or beach.
With each prompt, you get three outputs you can quickly previous. If something doesn’t look quite right, you can generate three new options or use the mask option to fix any issues.
