A Bitcoin blockchain block has four parts:
Block Number, a unique 64-character hash, the previous block’s hash (which creates the chain), and the transaction data.
The first block’s previous hash is “0,” so it’s called the Genesis Block.
Bitcoin simply uses this blockchain as its secure, transparent ledger.
