- You may not be deported for crimes committed after you become a U.S. citizen.
Responsibilities of Citizenship
- You must take an Oath of Allegiance to the U.S.
- You must give up allegiance to other nations/ sovereignties.
- You must serve the country, when required by law.
- You may participate in government by voting in elections.
- You must serve on a jury, when asked.
