Professor Florian Block takes us on a journey through generative AI, how it is used to create images and raises awareness of potential pitfalls in the creative use of AI. This in depth look at how generative AI is used in digital imagery demonstrates how it works by creating a nebula in a digital image. Florian is a Professor in Interactive Media and Digital Creativity, at the School of Arts and Creative Technologies, University of York.
