Welcome to my new YouTube series, Learn Graphic Design from Scratch. This is the very first lesson, and the place to begin. Over this series, I will teach you how graphic design is developed, what kind of decisions you have to make a designer and most importantly, the “why” of design, not the “how”.

In this lesson, I begin with the the empty space. It might seem like a strange place to begin, but trust me and follow along. Just because the empty space is empty, doesn’t mean there’s nothing there.
