Hitting Rate Limits? ๐Ÿ’ก Building In Google AI Studio & Google Antigravity Tips

Hi Friends, my name is Callum aka wanderloots. Google AI Studio or Google Antigravity? Why not both? In today’s video, I give a workflow on how to optimize your vibe coding while version controlling with GitHub โœจ Leverage the massive free tier of Google AI studio to build apps & bring in the power of Antigravity when you need it, all while staying within free limits ๐Ÿš€

The best vibe coding tool is not one tool but a suite of tools that you use in a workflow. If you don’t want to pay a ton for a single tool, you need to get clever with how you connect tools together.

GitHub is the perfect bridge between AI Coding tools, helping you snapshot your code and store it separately, so you can access it from anywhere. That means you can starting building in Google AI Studio, switch to Antigravity when you need more power & then go back to Google AI Studio to take advantage of its generous free tier.

But there’s a catch: Google AI Studio only has a one-way connection with GitHub, so we need to a different way to sync our code so we can go back to the free tier of Google AI Studio after using Antigravity.

Google AI Studio is an incredible powerful tool that has been helping me turn my ideas into reality. As a non-coder, I have been learning how to code using Gemini 3 Pro, enabled in Google AI Studio, while also using this same software to write code for me AND debug it.

I use my idea inbox for Obsidian example, so you can get an idea on how to build practical, personal apps for yourself.

It’s honestly amazing how much I’ve learned and built in such a short time, leveraging Gemini 3 Pro is one of the most powerful LLMs out there, especially for coding (and it’s free!).

With Obsidian being my favourite non-linear note-taking app, I thought it would be cool to build a custom, personal app for myself: an idea inbox. A dedicated mobile app that lets me drop thoughts & ideas in one place and have them appear in Obsidian for analysis later.
