Google just put 3-minute AI music in Gemini. Free for everyone. Suno and Udio won't like this.

Google Lyria 3.5 just landed in the Gemini App, Gemini API, and AI Studio — globally, free, for every Gemini user.

Three-minute full tracks. 44.1 kHz stereo. Expressive vocals with timed lyrics. Text-to-music and image-to-music — yes, you can feed it a photo and get a song back.

Until Sep 4, 2026, Lyria was locked behind Google Flow Music. Now it ships inside the same Gemini box you already use for chat.

Suno charges $10/month. Udio charges $10. Boomy closed its free tier. ElevenLabs Sound Effects just raised prices. Google ships the same output class at $0.
