In this video, I discuss some cool Codex use case demos made by the OpenAI engineers, Community Ambassadors, and tester users.
OpenAI Codex is a descendant of GPT-3, it was trained with both natural language and billions of lines of source code from publicly available repositories including GitHub. OpenAI Codex is most capable in Python, but it is also proficient in over a dozen languages.

Python – Ruby – Python – Ruby etc.
My personal favorite of our Codex examples — a program written in Python, which rewrites itself into Ruby, which rewrites itself into Python, which rewrites itself into Ruby, ad infinitum.

Andrew Cantino – Chrome extension
This is real. @OpenAI's Codex is phenomenal, and it clearly already knows the DOM layout of many popular websites. All I did was wrap it in a Chrome extension that provides a command shell. Disconcertingly, it also has a sense of humor…https://t.co/gh8iShzcHp
